About Universal Marine Center and Shipyard
Universal Marine Center is an upscale refit and repair shipyard, located on Fort Lauderdale's Marina Mile. The state-of-the-art facilities are ideal for storing and working on yachts, no matter their size, or scope of the project. Universal Shipyard puts customer service first, and even allows yachters to bring in outside contractors of their own.
Universal Marine Center Services and Features
Located on Fort Lauderdale's Marina Mile, Universal Marine Center is South Florida's destination for the best yacht servicing, refits, and repairs. The dockage facility accommodates yachts of up to 180 feet, for work on smaller crafts all the way up to mega yachts. In fact, they have 30 berths exclusively for mega yacht usage. In total, they have 6 covered sheds, 3 covered wet slips, 100 additional slips, and 3,600 feet of floating dock. No matter what size of vessel, they have a place for it.
Owners can leave their yacht's refit and repair service to the expert crews at Universal Shipyard. They take on any and all types of projects, from replacement in kind, to custom engineer jobs. They’ll fabricate, design and install custom components, and make critical repairs. The facility is also set up for container, mast, bay, and yard storage, to meet the demands of any project. Universal Shipyard will even accommodate requests to bring in outside contractors if the client prefers.
