Derecktor Shipyard is a full service shipyard with repair and refit services. The ample slips, sheds, and garages have been put to good use over the 35 plus years that Derecktor has been providing high quality service for South Florida's yachting community. Located just 2 miles from the heart of Fort Lauderdale and the airport, Derecktor attracts boaters from around the region.
Derecktor Shipyard Services and Features
Derecktor Shipyard is located on an expansive 17 acre site offering a full range of services. The facility includes 40,000 square feet of water shed space, and 4,000 square feet of dockage space.
On site, there are a total of 26 covered slips, 23 uncovered slips, and 46 storage garages. The slips vary in size and can accommodate vessels ranging from 40 feet to 210 feet in length. Each slip comes with full power service: 3 phase, 1 phase, 110V, 208V, and 480V hookups are all available to power any type of yacht.
In addition to storage facilities, Derecktor Shipyard is also a full service repair, repainting, and fabrication facility. They utilize 3 lifts to work on yachts with capacities of 60 tons, 150 tons, and the big boy 900 ton lift. Derecktor Shipyard has the capability and expertise to repair any type of vessel, and can perform their own fabrication right on site.
